Here is a super special find, a wonderful Vintage 1928 Martin 00-28 Brazilian Rosewood Adriondack Spruce steel string guitar in excellent plus condition in her original hardcase. Outstanding example and she's had the old T frets and fretboard updated and a recent pro reset and this fine instrument is looking, playing, and sounding as good as good as can be. Bottom line - this instrument is in lovely shape and ready to play.
At the owner's request, the brilliant luthiers at H.B. Woodsongs here in Boulder crafted a wonderful replacement straight grained ebony fretboard with proper MOP snowflakes and modern medium fretwire during which the neck was removed and beautifully reset. The resultant instrument is everything and more than her Nazareth creators endowed her with, and the wonderful playability, killer ambered vintage good looks, and wonderful resonant, balanced, and loud voice tell the story.
Woodsongs also replaced the banjo tuners and professionally installed a Mammoth ivory nut and bridge pins as well as stabilized two small cracks on the back with hide glue. Original case is solid though there's a few strips of the black fabric that have torn off over the years. Overall, the guitar is in fine shape with nicely figured top and straight grained chocolaty Brazilian back and sides.
Here's a beautiful example ready for your collection!
