The Caroline Kilobyte Low-Fi Delay Pedal is a digital delay pedal that sounds more analog than anything, yet you have the convenience a digital stompbox. Capable of mimicking the echo and tape-like effects of a bucket brigade chip, it straddles the line of having warm, natural analog tones with faithful digital repeats, courtesy of the Princeton Technologies PT2399 Echo Processor. Featuring four controls with an additional footswitch button for more variety, you can find yourself getting lost in its incredible potential. The Level control (top left) affects the overall volume of the repeats. Attack (top right) controls the amount of gain from the repeater preamp, so the lower the setting, the cleaner the effect (the original signal is unaffected). Summation (bottom left) controls both feedback and number of repeats - the higher it goes, the closer it gets to an infinite amount, and maxing it out results in a complete runaway effect. And the Binary Clock (bottom right) adjusts the delay time, up to about 500ms (it varies chip-to-chip). Higher delay times can result in more noise, but that's normal for the PT2399. Finally, the Havoc button (right footswitch) is a filtered runaway switch. Instead of having to manipulate the Summation control by hand, you can hold this down with your foot and get a focused override of it, then release it back to your normal settings. An incredibly cool and versatile digital delay pedal that doesn't sound digital - the Caroline Kilobyte Low-Fi Delay Pedal can increase your tonal palette exponentially. Uses a 9V battery or 9V DC power supply.
