Carvin B4 Korina Top 4-String Bass 2000s - Satin Natural
Here we have a Carvin B4 electric bass guitar! This 4-string bolt-on is in excellent condition.
Specs include a korina top, alder body, ebony fretboard, matching korina headstock veneer and traditional headstock. The neck is 5 pieces, alternating white and black limba. It has Schaller-style Carvin tuners, a string through body 4 saddle bridge and dual J-style pickups with active electronics. It has a 34" scale length, 1 5/8" nut width and 12" radius.
The bass is in excellent shape. There is an area of light player wear between the pickup and neck pocket near the G string. The hardware shows light signs of use and the bass shows light signs of playing and handling when inspected closely. There are no real dents or damage however.
This one weighs 8lbs 2oz. The neck measures .810 to .880 at the 1st and 12th. It has an oval C shape with medium depth that feels great. The bass sounds fantastic and is easy to play in every regard. It's articulate and punchy with excellent sustain, plus the strings respond wonderfully to both a pick and fingers. A really impressive instrument.
