1950 CF Martin & Co. C1 Concert Excellent, Original Soft, $1,200.00
This sweet little C1 Ukulele is in excellent condition overall and has its original Geib chipboard case. The uke is late 40s/early 50s. Solid mahogany back, sides and top, mahogany neck with Brazilian rosewood fret board and lovely tortoise binding on top and back. The back has three hairline cracks repaired, each is about 2" in length. Two are at the waist and one is in the middle. These are all tightly closed, flat and well aligned. The back finish looks as if it may have been very lightly over sprayed or French polished lightly after the crack repairs were done. The finish work is professional and hardly visible, requiring close inspection to see them. Detailed photos of the back are available on request. The rest of the uke is crack free and original. The finish is in good condition, showing some strum marks on the top but nothing through the finish. There are a couple of tiny finish chips on the top from strumming, but very little of that kind of wear. Frets are in good shape, the neck angle good and the action comfortable. Good volume and tone. The original case is in very good shape, latches, hinges and handle all in good condition and functioning well.

Items are sold with a 48 hour approval period unless clearly marked "AS IS" in the listing. AS IS items are not returnable. If an item is going to be returned it is at the buyer's expense and the item must be shipped within 24 hours of the buyer notifying Kovacik Guitars of intent to return. Any returned items must be shipped in the original packaging and MUST be fully insured when returned. Once an item is returned to Kovacik Guitars and judged to be in the same condition as when originally sold a full refund will be issued.
