Charvel's flagship model, the USA Select Series, inherits Charvel's original DNA, with an 80's style body, an elaborately molded neck, a compound radius fingerboard with rolled-off edges, a Floyd Rose bridge with no drops, etc. I am finished in the reliable specifications that a high performance player demands.

USA Select So-Cal Style 1 HSS FR features an alder body with a 1-ply black pickguard, straight-grained maple neck with vintage-style view truss rod, and 22 frets with either rosewood (white dot inlays) or maple (black dot inlays) compound. It has a radius fingerboard and rolled edges.

Electrical system: bridge pickup only (position 1), bridge pickup inner coil and middle pickup (position 2), bridge pickup inner coil and neck pickup (position 3), neck and middle pickup (position 4), neck pickup only A 5-way "super" blade pickup switch (position 5) lets out pure tone from the DiMarzio DP100F Super Distortion bridge pickup and DiMarzio DP-116 HS2 neck middle pickup.

Other premium features include a single control knob (master volume), top-mounted Strat output, black hardware, and a 37mm block Floyd Rose Original non-recessed bridge.
