Since becoming a Collings dealer this year we’ve received just about every style model they build and to be honest, every single one has been an absolutely stunning example of modern American craftsman ship. Their attention to detail is second to none, the Rope Binding on this particular 001 if flawless. The finish is perfect. Most importantly this little 001 has a full beautiful voice that is sure to surprise any unassuming player!

Specs! This used Collings is all original and in Near Mint condition. Nickel waverly butterbean tuners. Ebony overlay on headstock with pearl inlay logo. Bone nut width measures 1-13/16″. The neck is made out of mahogany with a depth of .86″ at the first fret and 1.10″ at the twelfth (soft V shape). Scale length measures 24.9″. Ebony fingerboard with a 16″ radius. Action measures 5/64″ on the bass side and 4/64″ on the treble side. The original 20 medium frets are in like New condition. Spruce top with mahogany back and side in a natural gloss finish. Spectacular Rope binding. Ebony pyramid bridge with a bone saddle. Comes with its original hard shell case. Weighs 3 pounds and 9.6 ounces.

This guitar has a lot goin for it! A real winner in the looks department, slot head stock, pearl rosette, small tortoise pick guard and the unbelievable rope binding! Near Mint condition, basically new but at a fraction of the price! Beautifully balanced sound. The treble floats wonderfully above the warm mids and thumpy bass. Tons of volume for a guitar of its size. Another absolute winner from Collings!
