New 14-fret Collings 00 from their "Traditional" line of guitars -- and built with an Adirondack Spruce top. Our writeup of the standard 001-T went something like: The first thing you notice when picking up this 001 Traditional is how light it is. It's effortlessly responsive, with a huge and loose-feeling low end. This guitar fills a room with sound, and possesses more than enough power for any dreadnought player looking for that elusive, satisfying small bodied guitar to dethrone their main guitar. And all of that is equally true of this one ... with the expected benefits of Red Spruce. It provides more of everything: throatier bass, punchier mids, and a more singing treble register for those who like to dig in with a flatpick. A powerhouse of a small-bodied guitar from Collings, and priced with TKL hard case.
