2020 Collings 002H 14-Fret T (Traditional Series) Natural

Collings’ newest series! Here we have a brand new Collings 002H T. The T signifies the Traditional Series which marks a return to vintage inspired design, construction, and voicing. The T series employs animal protein glue and a very thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish, along with pre-war scalloped bracing and specific tone wood selection to provide a vintage voicing characterized by warm, rounded highs and a present low midrange, with quick attack and strong projection.

Basic Specs: Nickel Waverly Butterbean tuners. 1 3/4 inch Bone nut. Mahogany neck with a 24 7/8 inch scale length. Neck depth of .80 inches at the first fret and 1.05 inches at the twelfth fret. Ebony fingerboard with 20 medium Nickel-Silver frets and a compound 14 to 26 inch radius. The neck profile also changes from rounded to a more vee shape as you move beyond the ninth fret. Carefully selected Sitka Spruce top with East Indian Rosewood back and sides. Ebony bridge with Bone saddle. Tortoise style pickguard.
