2013 Collings City Limits Deluxe Ice Tea Burst, Lollars, Madagascar RW
The City Limits is Collings' version of the venerable Les Paul, but with a build quality that is far higher than you will get from a Gibson. Offered here is a full-blown Deluxe model City Limits built in May of 2013 and in new and virtually unplayed condition.
The specs of this instrument include: a mahogany body and neck with a beautiful flame Maple top and a total guitar weight of just 8.4 pounds (8 pounds, ounces); a high gloss nitrocellulose Iced Tea Sunburst finish; a Madagascar Rosewood fretboard with 24-7/8" scale length, 12" radius, 1-11/16" bone nut and medium frets; a medium/fat "C" shape neck similar to a '59 LP; a long mortise/tenon neck joint; fully-adjustable truss rod; grained ivroid binding on the top, neck and headstock; ebony headstock overlay with inlaid logo; MOP dot fretboard inlays; ivoroid pickup rings and top hat knobs; Lollar Standard Wind Imperial humbuckers with DiMarzio pots and Xicon caps; Tonepros AVR-II bridge and tailpiece; Gotoh tuners with vintage style buttons; and a deluxe hardshell case by Ameritage.
This guitar plays with incredible ease and sounds fabulous - much like an LP only better! Please check out the brief sound sample included. The tone is thick and woody like an LP, but with a bit more complexity and with the playability of a Collings guitar!
This beautiful instrument is in virtually unplayed condition since new. The protective plastic film still remains on the plastic back cavity covers and the frets are flawless. It comes in it's original Collings/Ameritage case, also in superb condition, along with the original paperwork.
A new example like this one would cost well over $5K, but you can save a bunch on this "as new" 2013 beauty! Get yourself a Collings and you will be very glad you did!

Shipments to locations within the State of New York are subject to imposition of applicable New York Sales taxes. Trade proposals involving quality gear are welcomed! All layaways require a non-refundable up-front payment equal to 20% of the purchase price. Your deposit holds the guitar for you, with 60 days to pay the balance. Shipping to Continental US addresses is via FedEx Ground, with flat rate shipping of $60 to Eastern time zones, $70 Central and $80 Mountain/Pacific. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is $100. A phone number at the shipping destination is required. Other shipping services, including express services and international shipping are available at our discretion, just contact us for a quote.
Refunds of the original purchase price less shipping and a 10% restocking fee may be requested within 48 hours of delivery. Exchanges within one (1) week of the original date of purchase may be made for an item of equal or greater value at the discretion of Capital Guitars. Where permitted herein, items must be promptly returned at the buyer's expense, in the same condition as received with all accessories and paperwork included. Sale items, purchases that are made via layaway, those involving trades and/or international shipping are considered final except upon an error by and at the discretion of Capital Guitars.
