The Collings CJ is a certified modern day classic. Nothing, but nothing sounds or plays like them. While visually similar to the old Gibson round shoulder guitars, the similarities pretty much end right there.

First and foremost, The tone of the Collings CJ is very balanced, yet it has no problem filling even the largest room. The feel of the guitar reflects the overall quality of the instrument. The materials are "simply the best". We ordered this particular example with a 1 3/4 nut width and a very cool "retro" Tigerstriped pickguard. The back and sides are perfectly matched Indian rosewood that is to die for. Additionally, there was no way we could pass up having the guitar finished in the Collings classic tobacco sunburst.

The Collings CJ has to be one of my all time personal favorites. They're all anybody could ever ask for in an acoustic guitar and much, much more.

Just amazing!
