Description

Every once in a while we're lucky enough to have a used Collings guitar come through our shop that has been built using a spectacular grade of Madagascar Rosewood. If you're a Collings enthusiast, you might know that Madagascar Rosewood is not typically on the menu... That's why we're always excited when one shows up at our shop!

Madagascar Rosewood provides a fatter, deeper tone than what is typically found in the more common, Indian Rosewood. More similar in tone to Brazilian Rosewood, the Madagascar Rosewood has a beautiful, chocolatey appearance and a woody midrange presence that is a perfect match to the Collings build style and tonal character.

This guitar has been meticulously kept, with only the slightest scuffing on the pickguard. A true case queen!
