2019 Collings I-30 LC Blonde
Offered is this beautiul Collings I-30 LC completed in May, 2019. This fully hollow electric is one of the most sought-after guitars on the market right now. This 2019 example has seen only light test play and is in near mint condtion.
The I-30 LC is fully hollow, uses laminate wood construction and has no center block. Instead, trestle bracing supports the top and the electronics and controls mounted to it. Light weight Lollar Dog Ear P90 pickups with phenolic covers are mounted to the top. The Mahogany neck is connected to the tail block via the internal trestle bracing. A Collings trapeze tailpiece is also attached to the guitar's tail block. In most other respects, this guitar is quite similar to the Collings I-35 LC, their incredibly popular semi-hollow model. It has a 24-7/8" string scale, a medium/chunky Mahogany neck with a 12" fingerboard radius and a 1-11/16" nut. It is finished in Blonde nitrocellulose lacquer. This wonderful instrument has a total weight of just 5.4 pounds!
As with their I-35 models, this guitar feels and plays like it is carved from a single piece of wood, in the case of this I-30, a very light weight piece of wood. It is an incredibly resonant instrument, with terrific sustain and an output that is sufficient for unamplified playing. Plug it in and the P90's allow you get a clean tone that can be as smooth as silk. Crank it up for raunchy grit that is very LP like. Being a fully hollow instrument, feedback at high volumes is something to consider. Except for heavy metal perhaps, I suspect this would be an appropriate tool for most any music genre.
Built earlier this year, this guitar remains in near new conditon with no flaws of any significance, frets included. It comes in its original Collings/Ameritage case, also in mint/near mint condition.
These guitars are in high demand and cost $5.5K new. Get this near new 2019 example for a grand less. This is one of the finest new electric models that I've played in quite some time. Grab it while you can!

Shipping to Continental US addresses is via FedEx Ground, with flat rate shipping of $60 to Eastern time zones, $70 Central and $80 Mountain/Pacific. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is $100. Refunds of the original purchase price less shipping and a 10% restocking fee may be requested within 48 hours of delivery. Exchanges within one (1) week of the original date of purchase may be made for an item of equal or greater value at the discretion of Capital Guitars. Where permitted herein, items must be promptly returned at the buyer's expense, in the same condition as received with all accessories and paperwork included.
