2017 Collings OM1 T Natural

Here's a 2017 Collings OM1 T in Natural finish. Super clean, all original example, from perhaps the finest acoustic builder(s) on the planet...Collings! No breaks, cracks, repairs. Besides a little lacquer check on the top, the guitar is perfect. The 'T' stands for traditional series, which is a vintage inspired tonal variation on the distinctive Collings sound. From Collings, it's "designed and crafted to showcase the most desirable characteristics present in coveted pre-war instruments." This particular one was ordered with a Torrefied (aged) Sitka Spruce top, which makes it sound even closer a pre-war Martin. Other spec's include solid Honduran mahogany back & sides, tortoise body binding, tortoise bridge pins & end pin, tortoise pickguard, Ebony bridge, Ebony fingerboard with gold mother of pearl dots, pre-war scalloped x-bracing, and nickel Waverly tuners. Just the best of the best, from top to bottom. The nitro finish is also super thin, which you can hear tonally. It's open & balanced, and sounds like a guitar broken in for over 70 years! Great projection too. Playability is exceptional, with easy playing low action. Plays & sounds like an absolute dream. Original tags and case included!
