Collings continues to knock it out of the park with each guitar they send us. Up next, this stunning Collings Statesman. While giving a nod to Gretsch-style guitars (hollow-body construction, a Bigsby, and TV Jones Filter'Tron style pickups), the Gretsch similarities end quickly once you have this guitar in your hands. Borrowing the Collings SoCo body shape, the Statesman is an incredibly playable instrument that responds to your every whim - responsive, fast, toneful. To us, it almost feels like a Gibson ES125T or ES330 mated with a Grestch. Yes please! Anything from Chet approved picking to Johnny Marr chime to heavier rock inspired tones are possible. Add a Bigsby that works incredibly well and you've got a guitar to recon with! Priced with hard case by Ameritage!
