Circa late 1960s/early 1970s Conrad Hollow Body electric guitar - Made in Japan - in a really cool light sunburst finish in overall excellent condition for its age, serial number 2148696. This Conrad plays and sounds GREAT. Nice and slim maple neck, really cool bound fingerboard, double bound body, 3 GREAT SOUNDING PICKUPS! - and really cool matching faux tortoiseshell headstock veneer and pickguard. These older Japanese guitars are real killers. 3 of the knobs look to be non-original, but otherwise she looks stock. There is a 3 way blade switch and a small slider switch that seems to function as a phase switch. These pickups are really great, some really nice stratty out of phase sounds, too. This Conrad has the kind of excellent playability that some high end 60s harmonies and silvertones have - just really playable, comfy action, and wonderful pickups. If you dig moody and atmospheric tones, this is for you. Overseas shipping will require removing the neck. Call 859-261-5500 for an in hand description. Thanks.
