A very rare and very beautiful Daion Headhunter! This was Daion’s top of the line model and their equivalent to Gibson’s 335. It is a truly amazing and a very well built guitar. Her unique shape balances very nicely and weighs in at just about 8 lbs. Beautiful flame maple top and back with bull’s eye brass inlays as fret markers. Brass saddles and brass string nut. Duo hum buckers with coil taps make her a very versatile guitar. She is perfect for on stage performance and is a real crowd pleaser!
She is in excellent overall condition with straight neck, low action and great frets.
She is missing her original pick guard, but looks better without it, and her plain silver knobs were changed during her lifetime in favor of Gibson speed knobs. She is quite the looker and an amazing player! Her original hard-shell case is in very good condition and still retains its original paper label with matching serial as inside on the guitar label.

Because of the delicate nature of electronics and the possibility of parts swapping, all electric guitars are sold as is. I am not one of those people who makes it a habit of dissecting their guitars and photographing their guts: Only in a rare occasion, if the guitar merits it. Acoustic guitars (with the exception of items with the words “as is” in their descriptions or guitars that have had work done on them or have damage) are returnable for credit minus PP&I and restocking fee.. Terms of return for acoustic guitars: Acoustic guitars may be returned for immediate credit towards another guitar of higher price (25%+, excluding marked down prices) plus postage and packing fees (all returns subject to a 15% restocking fee.) PP&I fees are not refundable and guitar must be posted back within 24 business day hours and must be received in the same packaging and in the same condition as sent. Lay-a-way available on higher priced: 50% deposit of total immediately down and balance paid within 30 days or deposit forfeited. No returns on lay-a-ways. Accessories, cases, parts, amps, etc. are non returnable. By purchasing you are agreeing to these terms.
