This listing is for a Dan Armstrong Green Ringer ring modulator/octave effect, made in the USA in the 1970s. This unit shows some light wear, but works perfectly and sounds phenomenal. These are truly a classic effect that have their own unique thing going on, but it's best described as a sound that lives somewhere between a really musical and predictable feeling ring mod and an octave up effect. These effects track chords in a very cool way and give up a super pronounced octave up sound that REALLY pops out when you play above the 12th fret. The pedal is designed to plug into your amp and certain amps are designed so that the unit will not fit around the input jack so please make sure your amp will work with the effect.
