Description

Summary: This is a vintage Dan Armstrong Lucite Bass guitar from around 1970 & it plays and sounds great! We put a new set of strings on this baby & made sure the action is low & the bass plays great up & down the fingerboard.

Body: Solid body made of Lucite!

Neck: Maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, 24 frets, 1 5/8” nut width, 30.5” scale length. The tuners are original & the frets have plenty of life left in them.
Pickups/Hardware: Single replacement pickup, one volume & one tone knob.

Cosmetics: The clear lucite is in great shape but there are some light scratches & signs of wear on this bass guitar. The thumb rest is missing so you can also see the holes where the thumb rest screws in.

Playability: This Dan Armstrong plays great – we recently put a new set of light gauge bass strings on it & did a full setup on the instrument.

Modifications: The pickguard & the wiring (the pickup is original) have been replaced & this instrument comes with a non-original case. This instrument was routed out for a bad-ass bridge at one time but has been thoughtfully restored to be closer to the original.

Weight: 9 lbs, 11 oz.
Case: Non-original hard shell case
