ORANGE SQUEEZER (1st Reissue)
The eternal comp/sustainer ORANGE SQUEEZER, reissued in Japan in the '80s!
This compressor/sustainer was used by Lee Ritner, Masayoshi Takanaka, Issei Noro, and other famous players, and was indispensable in the crossover scene in the late '70s!
The original Dan Armstrong "Orange Squeezer" made in the UK, released in '74, was later manufactured by Mutron and released in the US. This is a Japanese reissue that was produced from the late '70s to the '80s. JRC4558T can type is used for op-amp. The compression with soft texture is very comfortable. The output level can be adjusted by turning the semi-fixed trim through the hole on the front panel, and the compression can be adjusted by the internal semi-fixed trim. The original machine is quite expensive, so please start with this one.
*There is rust on the set screw.
Since it is connected directly to the jack on the guitar, it cannot be connected to the boat-shaped jack on a strat. It is suitable for Les Paul, Semi-Acco, and SG with jacks on the top of the body.
