1956 Danelctro U-1 Jade Green

Straight outta Neptune, New Jersey, 1956 comes this Danelectro U-1 semi-hollowbody "Coke Bottle" headstock guitar in Jade/Emerald Green with its original hardshell case, serial# 1096. Find another. :) Borrowing heavily from a Les Paul body, this single-cutaway semi-hollow body guitar is made of a Masonite and Pine body, a Poplar neck and Rosewood fretboard. The guitar is wrapped in a white vinyl that has aged quite nicely. The lipstick pickup adds to its rarity as these are a harder find. Functionally speaking, this guitar does not disappoint. Frets are in great shape and it plays to perfection all the way up the neck and sounds phenomenal. We are in love with this guitar and can't seem to put it down once we get it in our hands. Certainly a shop favorite! Weighs 5lbs 7oz. Nut width is 1 5/8" and a 10" fretboard radius.
