Description

Danelectro 1965 3923 Double Neck

This is a short horn style double neck model "3923" made in 1965.

This model was produced from 1959 to 1966 and is finished in a color commonly known as Copper Burst.
(The catalogue description is White Sunburst).

It has Dan Electro's unique specs, including a hollow construction body with masonite top and back, coke bottle headstock, lipstick pickups, stacked knobs and clear pickguard. The neck is 24 3/4" medium scale on the guitar side and 30 short scale on the bass side.

There are no replaced parts, the original switches and pots have been cleaned but are in a slightly scuffed condition.

There is some paint melting and checking on the back of the neck due to age, and some dings and scrapes throughout, mainly on the back, but nothing major or noticeable, and the guitar is in good condition for its age.

Both necks have no fret wear and have over 90% fret remaining.

The bass neck is slightly warped forward and the guitar neck side is almost straight, but this does not affect playability.
