Used Danelectro - The '64 Guitar - Dark Aqua

The original Danelectro company was first founded in 1947 and by 1954 they started producing a distinct line of quirky guitars, eventually expanding to 12-strings, baritones and even sitars! The instruments often used unique lipstick-tube pickups, which contained the pick-up inside lipstick tubes, as well as concentric stacked tone/volume knobs on certain models. Danelectro's goal was to produce no-frills guitars of good tone at low cost and now Replay Guitar Exchange is excited to offer many of the instruments in the range. Here is the guitar you always wanted - the '64, in a killer dark aqua finish - a stellar reproduction of the 1960’s classic. A humbucking Lipstick pickup pair in the bridge provides awesome tones, plus you can pull on tone knob for coil tap. One vintage style large housing single coil neck pickup compliments the bridge pickup. And check out the genuine Bigsby tremolo! Die cast replicas of the original “hat” knobs and “peanut” neck plate are included, as is a zero fret. You won’t be able to put it down! A case is not included.
