Daryl Perry builds custom classical guitars and historic reproductions out of his shop in Winnipeg, Manitoba since 1982.
The guitar shown here, built during 2002, is in the Hauser style. The top is a blonde European Spruce, while the back and sides are a set of Brazilian rosewood that was 50 years old at time of construction. The back has a cleated repair, done by Serge deJonge. The neck is mahogany with a 650mm scale length and 51mm nut. Sloan tuners have been installed and it tunes well and smoothly.
This guitar has been played and has a full, rich voice. A white Eastman fibreglass case is included.
