This is the latest Virtus model Dean Gordon has built and the first with a 4A Flame Maple top and Cherry Burst finish. Dean was inspired to build this particular Virtus with a Les Paul style theme in mind. It came together beautifully and is truly a joy to play. Lots of sustain without the overly heavy weight of many Les Pauls. The Virtus is a unique ergonomic design with a chambered body and aircraft grade aluminum lower horn. We were blown away by how loud and resonant this instrument was even before plugging it in. It truly has something special going for it in that arena. The notes and harmonics just leap off the fingerboard with a flat-top like bloom and great sustain, not typically found on most bolt-on neck designs. The same goes for when it's plugged into an amp. This guitar is impressively lively. The 5% overwound hand-wound McNelly Autumn Humbucker pickup set is perfect in this build. They can certainly be aggressive when overdriven, but always retain a nice shimmer both clean or dirty with great note separation. They pickup the whole range of the instrument. Players of all styles will appreciate this guitars easy playability and quick attack. Clean players will enjoy a rich, dynamic and warm tonality. Players who tend to play heavier music such as Metal will find it to be the perfect shredding axe. This guitars tone and feel will appeal to a wide range of guitar styles. Currently setup with 10-46 gauge strings and a nice and supple low action.

Returns on New items are accepted (unless noted in the description), and must occur within 4 days from when you receive the item. (buyer must notify us that they will be returning the item within 4 days of receiving the item, or return will be void) Buyer pays for shipping cost , Buyer is responsible for returning the item undamaged, we can provide return label which cost will be deducted from the refund owned to the buyer.
