Description

Here we have a six-string banjo, specifically a 2008 Deering Boston 6 “Banjitar.” If you’re a guitar player who wants to inject some banjo timbre into your music, but you don’t want to learn how to play conventional 5-string banjo, this is your ticket. This 6-string Banjitar is tuned like a guitar so guitar players can instantly start playing this type of banjo. It has the characteristic crisp banjo highs but fewer overtones than many banjos. It’s easy to play and great for recording.

Tropical American Mahogany neck with radiused fingerboard. Slender Deering neck shape. Guitar style tuners. Adjustable truss rod. 22 Nickel Silver frets. Nickel Plated pot and Durable 3/16″ Steel rim. Beveled tension hoop. 24-piece Butterfly Flange, flat hooks, and bracket shoes. 5/8 inch Maple/Ebony Deering bridge.

A fun instrument that will have your Americana band sounding more Americana than ever. Comes with its original hardshell case in excellent condition.
