Diasonic 2 Pickup Sunburst Electric Guitar Made in Japan

Summary: This Japanese made guitar is very reminiscent of the Tiesco/Guyatone electric guitars being produced in the 60s. It has a great feeling neck which is straight and fully adjustable via the end of heel truss rod adjustment wheel. The frets are in fantastic shape and the pickups have a cool clear single coil twang. This guitar has just been fully gone over by our in-house guitar tech…..with this old Diasonic the high frets were reseated, electronics cleaned and touched up and the nut was dialed in and setup for optimal playability and tone.

Body: Solid body double cutaway with 2 tone red/black sunburst finish and topped off with a 3 ply tortoise pickguard. The finish has long deep weather checking which really adds to its vintage charm.

Neck: One piece neck with a bound rosewood fingerboard, pearl dots, 24.5” scale length, zero fret and 1.65” nut width.

Pickups/Hardware: 2 single coil pickups with on off switches for both, 2 volumes and 1 tone knob. It has an aluminum wheel-adjustable bridge and vibrato unit without the whammy bar.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape for its age but does show some normal cosmetic wear and tear such as finish checking on the body, a fair amount of little nicks and dings on the front and back and some warpage of the pickguard but nothing severe or detrimental to its stability.

Playability: This guitar has just been professionally setup by our in-house guitar tech and it plays and sounds great. The neck is straight, the frets have no major grooves or divots and the action is nice and low.
