オリジナルWH-1は'90〜93年頃に生産され、後継機種であるWP-2、XP100へと世代交代していきました。ところがWH-1への評価は高まるばかりで、'97年頃に限定再生産されました。本機は貴重なオリジナル・モデルです。12bit DSPによる少々ラフで太さの感じられるサウンド、頑強なボディーにシンプルなコントロール、依然として人気の高いモデルです。何といってもAUDIOSLAVEのトム・モレロが、RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINEの頃から長きに渡って愛用していることで有名ですね。彼のトリッキーなサウンドには絶対に欠かせないアイテムですが、他にもスティーブ・ヴァイやジョー・ペリーら、数多くの超有名アーティストも使用している逸品です。何といっても、その音楽的なサウンドが人気の秘密です！本品は、第2期生産仕様の個体となりますが、貴重な元箱、マニュアルが付属致します。
