Description

John B Dinsmore, is a retired master furniture builder in North GA, and several years ago built some fine guitars based on a dreadnought style but with his ideas on sound and playablility! Only the finest woods were used, this Koa initially had matching sides to the back but due to the characteristics of Koa he had to use straighter grain Koa instead to make the sides. The neck profile is unique its a scowsch wider and flatter …almost feels like a great Gibson SG neck …very comfortable not to thin …but I wish others used his neck profile. Big booming sound yet not overly bassy very even across the spectrum. He only made a few guitars, less than a hundred I am told, and yet everyone I have seen has been a winner! We sold a brazillian rosewood one a while back and the customer loved it. I am sure you will too ….to get a luthier built instrument at this price is hard to find ! Will come in a used hardshell case !
