We are thrilled to now represent Dion Guitars at Guitar Gallery! And our first installment is uber impressive. This guitar is the Definition of "understated elegance".  The work is precise, and cohesive. The sound is loud and shimmering, with bell-like clarity.

  • African Mahogany neck - the neck is ebonized through the introduction of iron acetate which reacts with the tannin in the wood to turn it black, for a very cool effect

  • There are no back braces, because this guitar is constructed with a hollow core back. In Dion's words: This idea was given to me by Luthier Jeremy Clark. Made from 4 wood layers of alternating grain direction with a core of Nomex, this design allows me to create a very evenly stiff, very active back contributing greatly to the volume and tone of my instruments.

  • Fully Removable Bolted Neck Joint: In Dion's words, Contrary to popular belief a glued neck joint isn't actually a tighter neck joint. When glueing a joint one needs to leave room for the wood to swell once the glue is applied. With a bolted neck joint I can ensure a perfectly fit, wood to wood joint with the added benefit of easy neck resets down the road.

    We accept Visa/Mastercard/American Express/Discover from USA residents and good ol' cash. Personal checks are accepted under the condition that shipment is delayed until the check clears the bank. TN residents add 9 3/4% sales tax.

    We ship Fedex ground insured, unless otherwise specified by the buyer. On finer instruments, we insist on overnight shipment for safe handling. Buyer pays shipping unless otherwise agreed upon. International shipments are via FedEx.

    Must have prior approval of return. Opened strings are not returnable. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your guitar, simply return it fully insured (with prior authorization) via shipping method we agree upon. When we receive the instrument in the same condition as when we shipped it, you will happily be issued a refund minus all shipping costs.
