1996 Dobro F-60 Sunburst
Summary: This is a late 1990’s Dobro F-60 with the original Dobro hard shell case. This instrument has been recently restrung & set up so the action is low & it plays great up & down the fingerboard. It would be easy to adjust for higher action for slide playing should one desire.
Body: Dobro body that is 10.75” at the upper bout, 14” at the lower bout, 3.5” wide (a little wider because the metal resonator), 2 f-holes, beautiful vintage sunburst finish.
Neck: Maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, white pearloid dot inlays, 19 frets, 1.75” nut width, 24.5” scale length.
Pickups/Hardware: No electronics, chrome hardware, vintage style tuners with white buttons
Cosmetics: This Dobro is in pretty good shape – there are some small dings & scratches on the body but this instrument looks like it has been taken care of over the past 20 years. The frets are in great shape & have a ton of life left in them.
Playability: We put a new set of 12’s on this Dobro & it sounds rich & loud and it plays great up & down the fingerboard. The neck is straight & the action is low.
