1981 Dobro Model 1000 Resonator Round Neck Chrome
Here's a real stunner. Vintage original 1981 Dobro Model 1000 Resonator Round Neck. Plays and sounds as amazing as she looks. Guitar is cosmetically and structurally in excellent condition.
Serial number on the headstock dates the guitar to 1981. Chrome plated bell brass body. F holes in top at upper body bouts. Floral motif engraving on body with Dobro "shield" on body rear, particularly stunning.
Spun aluminum resonator speaker cone, biscuit bridge assembly with fan type cover plate.
Beautiful round maple neck with natural finish. This is the round neck version, more valuable than a square neck. Neck is straight and plays great with a good action all the way up and down. Engraved Dobro logo peghead. 19 fret ebony fretboard with floral motif inlays, a deluxe feature on Model 1000 guitars.
The best part of this guitar (besides the look) is the tone, super warm and resonant. Great for recording.

After 24 hours, no returns. Buyer assumes all shipping charges. If we agree to a return, as in an internet sale, instruments must be returned in the condition they were sent. Shipping costs will be deducted from the return, and buyer will assume these costs. If we accept a return there will also be a 5% re-stocking fee. All merchandise sold is in used - as is condition. All sales final. If there is an exception made on any return over 24 hours, there will be a 15% re-stocking fee to the customer. No returns whatsoever on guitar parts.
