"There's an instant bond between you and the musicians you're building for." - Matt Eady

Blending the best elements of traditional solid-body guitarmaking with the amenities and contours of the modern era, Matt Eady has provided guitarists with a contemporary style with all the benefits of the great sounding guitars of the 1950's. After working for both the Gibson Custom Shop and Bob Benedetto for nearly 10 years, Matt decided it was time to fulfill his lifelong dream of opening a shop.

Matt Eady makes exceptional guitars, period. Our latest, and gorgeous, EG Pro features a figured maple top and MannMade hardtail bridge. Like all of Matt's guitars we've had, the fit, finish, and setup are simply flawless. The neck feels similar to a 59 LP carve, the playability is effortless, and the guitar balances perfectly for seated playing. The Arcane humbuckers work really, really well in this guitar - all the fat, full-bodied (but clear) LP tones you'd ever want are there, plus some interesting additions via a 5-way switch (positions 2 and 4 run in parallel). If you're in the market for a new humbucker equipped guitar, we seriously doubt you're going to find a better guitar - just stunning on all levels!
