This Eastman E20 00 SS is a superb guitar and great for both strummers and fingerstyle players thanks to its 00 size and aged Adirondack Spruce top. This slope shoulder 00 was based in part on our owner Jim's own vintage 00-28 and we think Eastman nailed it in making a 00-sized player that combines classic looks, traditional materials and wonderful tone, all in an affordable instrument. Here with a 20 year old Adirondack Spruce top paired with Rosewood back and sides, you have a guitar with nice response, a warm yet powerful sound and real presence - something you'd expect to pay twice as much for. Slightly larger than its Parlor series, this 00 has more volume and depth, for a rich tone. It has a slightly shorter 24 3/4" scale length, a comfortable 1 11/16" bone nut, and a bone saddle with 2 5/32" string spacing. The neck is made from Mahogany and has a Rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets. The Sunburst finish looks superb and gives it a real old-timey, porch guitar appearance, while the AC style headstock and white multi-ply binding gives it some subtle modern flair. The Eastman E20 00 SS comes with a hardshell case and a full setup from our luthiers. It also comes with a tortoise pickguard in the case that can be installed by our luthiers, if you wish. 00SS14-fret-style with Hand-Carved X-Scalloped bracing 20 year old Adirondack Spruce top with Sunburst finish Solid Rosewood back and sides 24 3/4" scale length Mahogany neck Rosewood fingerboard with 20 Jescar - Nickel frets and dot inlays 1 11/16" nut width Bone saddle with 2 5/32" string spacing Rosewood bridge Open-Gear tuners Tortoiseshell pickguard included 14 3/4" lower bout x 4 1/4" depth Hardshell case included
