Radical new design from Eastman's archtop division!
I'll admit that I'm a bit of a guitar purist. I don't like crazy designs or modern guitar build techniques. I like the way old stuff sounds and feels and want new stuff to replicate that. This new Ambrosio-design ER4 from Eastman made me forget about all those holdups of mine. This guitar sings SWEET. It's got a great articulate voice that's got tons of authoritative mid-range but still has a nice high-end bite to it, like if mahogany and maple had a lovechild. It looks like a starship, too, so you'll be sure to turn some heads with this one. Funny business aside, it has the playability and tone a working jazz musician would demand from an instrument, and could easily stand up to 5K and above custom build.
The next-generation electric archtop is here! Solid Spruce Top, Solid Mahogany back and sides with classic “Big Box” jazz and blues tones. Superior feedback suppression at high volumes.
