NATIONAL MAP Guitars were made in the USA from 1958-64 by VALCO and sold through Montgomery Ward. This AIRLINEĀ® MAP is a tribute to the NATIONAL Newport Guitar from 1962. Today they are played by people like David Bowie, The Cure, Calexico and White Stripes. Original MAP Res-O-Glas models now sell for $3,000-$5,000.

Featuring a Chambered Mahogany body, Bound Maple bolt-on neck, Rosewood fingerboard with Block Markers, 24 3/4" Scale length, 1 11/16" Nut width, Grover Style Nickel/Chrome hardware, 2 Alnico Hot-10 Humbuckers, 2 Volume and 1 Tone controls with 3-way switch, Bigsby tremolo, Roller Bridge. Available in Seafoam Green, Red, Black, White

Most stringed instruments sold by IGS are shipped UPS Ground service for $50.00 to $100.00 for the 48 Contiguous states. (Overnight Red Label is also available). Please call on each item. GUITAR FREIGHT (Foreign) We ship instruments world wide. Our shipping department prides itself in its ability to safely deliver guitars anywhere in the world. We use Fex Ex Great Rates service, wherever possible. You are responsible for any import duties, V.A.T., etc. on delivery. It is advisable to consult with your local customs office.
