This Echopark Esperanto Custom 9-String is in excellent condition. The finish on this instrument has been aged by the builder. This guitar has an old stock mahogany neck with a medium V shaped profile. This neck is chunky but is very easy to play. The frets on this guitar are in excellent condition and show no signs of play wear. This instrument has been professionally set up and it plays outstanding up and down the fingerboard. This guitar features 9 strings - the high E, B and G strings are doubled and tuned in unison making for some very interesting chord voicings. The pickups in this guitar sound incredible. The bridge pickup has a very nice articulate harmonic bite that sounds excellent clean or dirty and the blade style neck pickup is very round yet still has plenty of clarity. There is a treble bleed control located on the treble horn. This guitar was sold to a very good friend of mine as a prototype instrument and it served as a backup guitar for another musician for some time before that. This Esperanto was wired up and set up here in my shop by Gabriel before its new owner carried it home. This inspiring instrument is now looking for a new home. This is a very unique and well crafted guitar and, to my knowledge, I don’t believe there are any of these floating around that are for sale.
