Echopark Tavares Rose Custom

This brand new Echopark Tavares Rose guitar just arrived to our shop straight from Detroit and has been expertly built using the finest of materials, an artistic eye and exceptional craftsmanship. We met with Gabriel Currie at our shop and discussed specs, past experiences, the future of the electric guitar and, of course, music. We shook hands, placed a few orders and now we are proud to offer Custom and DT Series Echopark instruments to our customers.

This guitar features old stock contoured alder body with distressed custom aged Sonic Rose lacquer finish, one '57 PAF humbucking pickup in the neck position, one wide range pickup in the bridge position, one volume control and one coil blend master tone control with black cupcake knobs, three position pickup selector switch, single ply caramel tortoiseshell grain pickguard, Descendant vibrato, four bolt Michigan maple neck with medium C profile, bound ebony fingerboard with block inlays and Jescar 8550 frets, bovine bone nut, six in a line Vintage/Mod double line Kluson tuning machines, gold peghead face with tortoiseshell grain E Echopark logo, nickel plated metal hardware, Certificate of Authenticity, and custom green TKL hard shell case. This guitar weighs 8lb 4oz.

The body of this guitar is fully contoured but also has a thicker, squared off “slab body” that is truly cool. This Tavares has a medium C neck profile that feels incredible in the hand and has just the right amount of chunkiness. The fret job is top notch and this guitar plays effortlessly up and down the fingerboard. The wide range bridge position pickup delivers an extremely articulate yet thick and woody humbucking tone that has enough snap and clarity to shine clean or overdriven. The neck position ‘57 PAF humbucker has a fatter, warmer tone that still retains lots of clarity. This pickup is great for clean reverby sounds and thick overdriven lead tones. This pickup set is very impressive and both pickups are just incredibly “musical.” The Descendant vibrato operates incredibly smooth, is extremely fun to use and really furthers the inspiration that this Tavares invokes. I can’t say enough good things about this guitar. If you’ve been looking for a truly unique, well built, American made instrument, then this Tavares Rose should definitely be on your radar.
