Judging by the pickups, and truss rod cover I would say at least 1965, maybe a little older. This EKO was the personal property of a music store owner in SC, and his main bass for years. I am not sure if the bridge is stock, it has a compensated saddle, and most pictures I see have a bridge cover on the bridge, but works great. Slender neck, plays great, flat wound strings so no fret wear. Original hard case with candy, and over all nice shape, a couple long finish cracks like I see on EKO's, Vox's, Hofner and that type. The pickups sound really full, and it's just a gorgeous, clean and awesome bass. Flamey on the sides and back, it was taken very nice care of. This is the best example of one of these I have ever seen, with the pearloid machine head buttons, square magnet double polarity pickups, all the cool earlier stuff. Thanks for looking!
