1978 Electra MPC X330 Cherry Sunburst

This 1978 Electra MPC X330 is in very good condition. This instrument shows signs of play wear and age throughout including some small dings around the body edges, some scratches on the back of the guitar, some forearm wear and some small dings around the peghead edges. The bridge pickup is a Japanese made replacement from the 1980s. This instrument came to our shop without any of the effects modules, but the guitar was tested with two modules from another Electra MPC instrument that we have in stock and the effects circuit is in great working order. This guitar has a super comfortable medium C shaped neck profile with a 1 11/16” nut width. This neck feels excellent in the hand and is very easy to play. It is not overly chunky or super slim - it’s just right! The original brass nut is present and the original frets are tall, in terrific condition and have lots of life left. The guitar has been professionally set up and it plays outstanding up and down the fingerboard with low smooth action and great intonation. The electronics have been cleaned and are in great working order. Both pickups sound fantastic. The original neck pickup has a fat woody tone that is perfect for clean sounds and thick overdriven leads and the bridge pickup has a righteous bite that absolutely screams with distortion! This is a perfect guitar for anything from classic rock to stoner rock to doom! This Electra is very lightweight coming in at 7lb 10oz and is very resonant and loud when strummed unplugged. These Japanese built Electra guitars are very well made and this example plays and sounds incredible with an unbeatable 70s rock n roll vibe. This guitar is housed in its original brown plastic rectangular hardshell case that is in decent condition (see photos). The case handle is missing.
