This is a vintage 1976 / 1977 Electro-Harmonix Bad Stone Phase Shifter pedal. Unlike the subsequent and more familiar Bad Stones, this one has more features - most notably the foot treadle.

It can operate in two modes via the left/top switch: automatic and manual. In auto mode, we get the classic sound of the Bad Stone, with a speed control on the side of the pedal. Additionally, the Bend toggle turns the phaser into more of a flutter-and-wow style drunken vibrato - really, really cool effect. The color knob next to the bend toggle is like a tone control. And finally, stomp on the left/top switch again to use the rocker treadle for manual phasing like a wah. Be sure to listen to our demo below!

This pedal is in amazing, all original condition. One pot dates to the end of '76 and the other to early '77. It's missing it's In / Out labeling and has a few scratches here and there, but otherwise looks and sounds killer!
