This "English Electronics" Tonemaster guitar was made by National / Valco in 1957 in Chicago. This is one of the rarest solid bodies National made in the 50's and it is also one of the best designs. It has an amazing sounding stock lap steel pickup in the bridge position, the "Ry Cooder" pickup and then a standard pickup in the neck position. The guitar shows some wear but overall it is in nice shape. It is all original but it is missing one of the cosmetic caps that cover the neck screws. It plays and sounds great. It comes with the original soft shell faux gator case.
