2021 Epiphone 1959 Les Paul Outfit Limited Edition Aged Heritage Cherry Fade

Excellent condition featuring single cutaway mahogany body, single bound (thin through the cutaway) two piece figured maple top with Aged Heritage Cherry Fade finish, two Gibson Burstbucker humbucking pickups with cream colored plastic pickup surrounds, two volume controls and two tone controls with gold plastic bonnet knobs, three way pickup selector switch with cream plastic Rhythm and Treble selector ring and amber colored plastic switch tip, Tone Pros stop tailpiece and tune-o-matic bridge with six individual adjustable brass saddles and two height adjusting thumb wheels, single ply cream plastic elevated pickguard with metal mounting bracket, set mahogany neck, bound Indian laurel fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays starting at the third fret, Nubone nut, Epiphone peghead shape with pearloid Epiphone logo and gold Les Paul Model signature logo, black and white plastic bell shaped truss rod cover, three per side individual Epiphone Deluxe vintage style tuning machines with green plastic keystone tuner buttons, serial number impressed into the back of the peghead, single ply black plastic electronics cavity cover plate, metal switch cavity cover plate with decorative “E” Echelon logo and “Limited Edition since 1873” text, two metal strap buttons, cherry stain neck and body finish, chrome plated metal hardware and original brown Epiphone hard shell case with pink plush interior. This guitar weighs 8lb 15oz.

This 2021 Epiphone 1959 Les Paul Standard is in excellent, virtually unplayed cosmetic condition. The neck profile on this instrument is that of a chunky “late 50s” carve with rolled fingerboard edges and a 1 11/16” nut width. This neck is very nice feeling and Epiphone has done a great job recreating a classic neck profile while retaining comfort. This is certainly one of the nicest Epiphone necks that I’ve experienced. The frets are in virtually unplayed condition and show no wear. This Les Paul plays great up and down the fingerboard. The Gibson Burstbucker 1 and 2 pickups sound tremendous in this guitar and really take this Epiphone to the next level. The bridge pickup has a very articulate yet round tone that excels with an overdriven amp and has plenty of bite. The neck position is great for jazzy clean tones and thick overdriven leads. This Lester also features CTS 500k potentiometers, Malory Capacitors and a Switchcraft three way switch making this instrument rock solid in the electronics department and saving you from having to immediately upgrade these components. In addition, this Les Paul has an aged nickel Faber bridge and tailpiece which have been professionally installed and are very nice upgrades to this guitar. The figured maple top on this Les Paul is exceptionally nice and pairs well with the Aged Heritage Cherry Fade finish and the new Epiphone peghead shape. If you are after a really stellar Epiphone Les Paul, then this will not disappoint.
