This guitar is not your ordinary Epiphone Broadway. This guitar has had a complete makeover with all work being done by master luthier and archtop specialist Chris Mirabella. The customer wanted the neck shaped like the 60's profile on his 2002 Gibson L-5 so Chris took it down, reshaped it and re-lacquered it(thus the mineral stain in the Maple neck). Chris then replaced the pickups with a Dimarzio DP-260 PAF Master in the neck position and a DP-103 PAF 36th Anniversary in the bridge position for a beautifully balanced vintage sound. Chris then hand built a compensated Ebony bridge just for this guitar. Finally the frets were leveled, crowned and polished and set up with 11 gauge flat would strings. The guitar is beautifully clean with no fret divots or wear and I could not find a ding, dent or scratch on the gorgeous guitar. Included are the original bridge and pickups. The guitar ships in the original Epiphone hard shell case as shown.
