Description

The John Lennon Signature "1965 Re-Issue" Casino in Blonde.

Originally a sunburst model, Lennon picked up the idea that heavier production finishes inhibited the resonance and responsiveness of a guitar, and had his stripped to natural, with a light lacquer re-applied. The original Kluson Deluxe tuners were replaced with gold-plated Grover Roto-Matics on both the original and this re-issue piece.

Natural Finish, Spruce Top, One-Piece Mahogany neck with 14 degree grain orientation, Rosewood Fingerboard with original 0.062" thick Pearloid Parallelogram Fret Markers.

Painstakingly modelled by Gibson with the help of Yoko Ono who owns the original guitar.
