1961 Epiphone Coronet Cherry
Original vintage 1961 Epiphone Coronet with the stock single P-90 pickup that we know and love so well. This one has a vibrant Cherry finish and gorgeous curvy beautifully rounded body made in the peak years of Gibson factory craftsmanship - appreciated as true art in its visual appeal and utilitarian simplicity. These early versions feature the Gibson-like "3-on-a-side" tuners and a comfy neck profile on the thinner side. Plays beautifully with plenty of fret life left and no issues. No major cracks or repairs, but requisite dings of a 60 year-old guitars that has been played.
Warm and punchy P-90 pickup sounds fantastic. Nice and light at 5lbs 10oz, a real fine example for the player and collector alike. The pickguard currently on it is a replacement, but we'll include the original pickguard as well, along with the chipboard case, and packed lovingly and professionally should you have it shipped your way. Don't sleep on this one!
