Description

Epiphone's "bat-wing" Coronet is one of the coolest electrics ever rolled out. It's one of Gibson/Epiphone's first double cutaway designs and can be considered a curvier, sexier LP Junior. It shares many feature with the LP and SG Junior of the day with its wraparound bridge/tail, single P-90 pickup, and all mahogany construction. It's also one of their earliest production models with a 6-in-line tuners, leading to the signature headstock shape. This one still has a nice deep cherry red finish and no breaks, cracks or repairs. Average to light paint wear for its age. It should be noted that you can feel the paint seem along the edges of the fingerboard. There's still a good amount of fret left too so the action is low and comfy. Score! Neck has the signature 60s thin to thick taper and the whole guitar is feather light at only 5.7 lbs. The vibrato is a cool touch as well though it is more subtle than most.
