The Beatles put the Epiphone Casino on the map when they got theirs in 1966. But we have a feeling these guitars would have become epic even if the Beatles had never played them.
Here we have a 1964 Casino, aka the Epiphone E230TD, in beautifully aged vintage sunburst finish. All original except for a missing pickguard and vibrato arm. Original 1964 stackpole pickups. Original tuners, bridge, and tailpiece. Even comes with the original hardshell case.
This Casino is in good to very good condition with scattered dings and scratches as befits as 55 year old guitar. Frets and fingerboard are in great shape as are the parallelogram inlays. No buckle rash on the back. No structural issues at all. As with all our guitars, it’s been professionally set up in-house and is playing and sounding awesome. There’s something about those old P-90 pickups that makes us want to turn up the amp and just wail. What a great feeling.
