This is a 1969 (by using the unreliable serial number) Gibson-made Epiphone Granada Cutaway. The pots are dated 1965 and 1966 however. It is in a now-faded Cherry Sunburst finish. The tailpiece and bridge are non-original, but the original Kluson tuners remain. When we got it the neck was loose and had been screwed back in the pocket both from the heel and with 4 small screws thru the back. We properly reset the neck, refretted it and filled and touched up the finish on the nasty large heel screws but left the 4 small holes thru the back. It now plays as it should. There are assorted dings, scratches dents and lacquer checking on the body. No case.
