Description

Check out this gorgeous 1963 Epiphone Emperor Regent Cutaway A112N in a Natural finish! These big-body, Kalamazoo-made Epiphone’s are getting harder and harder to come by, especially one that doesn’t break the bank. This example features an incredible flamed maple back that is one of the most beautiful pieces of maple we have ever seen. During its life, it seems someone removed the floating pickup and replaced the pickguard. However, this appears to have been done long ago. The current pickguard appears to be much older and is shrinking substantially but still functions as intended. The guitar sounds phenomenal as an acoustic and because of the oversized body, it truly is a cannon. This one features an 18″ lower bout width, 13″ upper bout width, a 1st fret neck depth of .82″, and a 9th fret neck depth of .95”. It is in great shape for being almost 60 years old showing only a few nicks and dings and a couple of finish gouges that appear to have had a light coat of finish painted over to protect them. Besides the absent pickup and replaced pickguard, this guitar appears to be completely original with no breaks or repairs.

Overall Condition: 8.5, light worming and light dings
