This is Epi’s answer to Gibson’s Hummingbird model, an exhilarating sounding issue from 1967. Its got a faded Red/Brown Sunburst Spruce Top that’s quite grainy w/plenty of pick wear sporting a cool Tortoise’gard. Its mahogany back & sides are very striped & quite clean. Its 1 piece mahogany neck has a dot inlaid rosewood fingerboard w/matching bridge that sports a wooden adjustable saddle set up perfectly letting all of its highs & lows out. Its original metal button double line Kluson Deluxe Tuners work perfectly. Other than a nicely repaired crackle from the bridge south, she’s completely crack free all over. She’s also benefited from a perfect neck reset & a fabulous refret. She’s got a groovy patina w/lots of checking. Her neck has a very player friendly 1 9/16″ nut. Having no issues nor any touchup ever, she’s a great candidate for any real player or wanting a great example. Grab it if you can. She’s Excellent overall & comes in its original Gray/Blue lined soft shell case.
